Mr Brown lives in a beautiful 3 bedroom terraced house in Thornton Heath. In 1996 Mr Brown purchased from Rayotec evacuated tubes and has recently invested in an 8 panel photovoltaic system (approximately 1.36kW peak).
We asked why he chose to install solar and he told us:
the solar thermal system has reduced my gas water heating bill by a substantial amount. The PV panels should cut costs of my electricity bill and payment for excess to the national grid. Other reasons for my purchase are being green, reducing carbon footprint, the projected increase in fuel costs, long life term benefits and the energy saving trust grant.
We asked Mr Brown what he thought of our installation team and how he finds living with solar and he responded:
The installation team were very professional, gave good information regarding the product and use. They work well as a team, clean and gave minimal disturbance. The solar thermal system is easy to sue now I have had the Delta Sol unit (a few problems with older model). The system produces more than enough hot water, in the past up to 87ºC in mid summer! With regards to the PV system, it is too soon to tell, but I anticipate good results and money back.
We asked Mr Brown why he chose to work with Rayotec and he said:
confidence in the capability to install high quality products. All tubes for the solar thermal remain in good working order 13 years on! Rayotec have also been in the market place for many years.
