How Can I Reduce My Carbon Emissions?
The vast majority of carbon emissions from both residential and commercial buildings are accounted for by space heating and cooling, water heating and electricity usage.
We provide advice on maximising the efficiency of your water and heating system and as fully qualified CORGI registered heating engineers can install the most energy efficient boilers available which will work in conjunction with a solar hot water heating system dramatically reducing carbon emissions from water heating. For commercial buildings and larger residential buildings (or in particular circumstances where there is no mains gas or where heating oil is currently being used) an air source heat pump or geothermal system can be used to reduce carbon emissions both from water heating and from space heating and cooling. An under floor heating system can be combined with a number of these options to further increase the efficiency of your building.
We will also provide advice on other ways to reduce both your energy consumption and carbon emissions and can recommend utility companies that can hire to provide 100% of your electricity needs from renewable energy sources. |
