Solar energy can provide effective preheating towards underfloor heating and hot water supply.
Our knowledge and experience in solar energy has enabled us to put together a unique package. Utilising ultra efficient vacuum solar collectors and a high performance solar thermal store you can now add useful heat towards your domestic hot water and underfloor heating, reducing your dependency on conventional fuel and helping towards a cleaner environment.
Solar heating panels are used to heat the mains supply of water which is channelled into a thermal store cylinder. Using solar energy to heat water from its coldest level ensures the greatest amount of heat exchange, which means the highest recovery and most efficient use of solar energy.
Once the mains water supply has been heated by solar energy it is brought up to the final temperature of sixty to seventy degrees Celsius by exchanging heat with water heated by the boiler. Hot water from the thermal store is circulated underneath the floor or into other hot water mains appliances as required to provide the desired level of under floor heating or mains pressure hot water. Appliances such as showers can be fitted to receive the benefits of hot water at main water supply pressure levels.
Solar linked underfloor heating has the following benefits:
Learn more about underfloor heating at the Rayotec website.
The Rayotec solar power under floor heating thermal store cylinder combines exceptional performance with low running costs in order to provide a heating comfort heating solution and mains pressure hot water.
The Rayotec solar thermal store is a leading industry design developed by experts in the fields of solar power and under floor heating. The solar thermal store cylinder is made from duplex stainless steel and comes with a lifetime manufacturer’s guarantee. The thermal cylinder was developed specifically to maximise the efficient use of solar energy in order to achieve the best energy yields and highest possible energy cost savings. The thermal store cylinders were developed primarily to utilise solar heated water but are designed so that they can be integrated with other heat sources such as back boilers or stoves.
