Rayotec Solar is the UK distributor of SCHOTT photovoltaics panels.
SCHOTT has been established in the photovoltaic (PV) market for over forty years and is Europe’s largest photovoltaic solar power cell and module manufacturer. SCHOTT is responsible for some of the most widely available solar technology on the solar power market.

Independent testing and studies have proven that the highest energy yields are achieved by top quality crystalline solar power cells like those used in SCHOTT photovoltaics (PV). SCHOTT photovoltaic (PV) modules are designed with cost-efficient and practical solutions for use and integration and are available either framed or unframed depending upon the type of mounting to be applied.
We currently keep stocks of 160Wp framed photovoltaic solar power modules. However, we are able to acquire other modules for specific customer orders.
There are two types of mountings for SCHOTT photovoltaics (PV).
SCHOTT POLY cells are wafer thin and produced using the internationally recognised patented method of Solar GmbH EFG, which differs from the standard method of production carving up a block of silicon. The patented method used by SCHOTT draws silicon directly from the silicon melt, which is shaped into a six metre octagonal tube. The octagonal tube is then cut with lasers into 100mm by 100mm wafers.
POLY cells have been used by solar module manufacturers for over 25 years and have been deployed in the most severe climatic conditions.
SCHOTT is a trans-national technology company which aims to facilitate sustainable improvements to human activities through the development, manufacture and supply of technology including specialist components, materials and systems.
Global sales are in excess of two billion Euros and the company employs more than sixteen thousand people in over eighty subsidiary companies throughout the world. SCHOTT has achieved recognition and built a reputation for its experience, understanding and high quality of products.
SCHOTT also manufacture other solar products including thin-film silicon solar modules. If you would like more details about solar power modules visit their website at www.schott.com
